Ski Season Rentals

The most common question I receive from new clients is, “Is now a good time to start looking for ski season rentals?” This inquiry comes my way every month, and the answer isn’t straightforward—it hinges on several factors, particularly the location of the rental.

Clients often have specific preferences. Some aim for the convenience of being right next to their favorite ski area, like Blue Mountain or one of the exclusive ski clubs along the Niagara Escarpment. Others prefer the charm and amenities of downtown Collingwood or Thornbury. While “ski-in, ski-out” properties are scarce and highly sought after, they do occasionally become available. Additionally, “walk-in, walk-out” options are more plentiful and offer a great alternative.

Many of my clients hail from Toronto, and my team and I strive to simplify their search by providing detailed video walkthroughs of potential rentals. This service often allows clients to make informed decisions without the need for an in-person visit, saving both time and travel expenses.

So, when should you start your search? Ideally, as early as possible. My team and I are constantly on the lookout. Properties can become available at any time—from spring through to fall. Remember, during exceptional times like the global health crisis, securing a rental was particularly challenging due to increased local occupancy.

To ensure you get the best fit for your ski season getaway, let’s discuss your preferences and start the search process well in advance. This proactive approach maximizes our chances of finding you the perfect winter retreat.
